Covid-19 is an unpredictable highly infections virus. In order to minimise the risk of cross infection, I am following adaptations recommended by the Government and Association of Reflexologists, which are for our mutual protection.
These include:
- A risk assessment form will be completed over the phone before each treatment to determine if it is appropriate for you to have a treatment. The completed form will be available for you to check and sign before the treatment starts.
- For new clients, a medical history will be taken over the telephone at a pre-arranged time. The completed form will be available for you to check and sign before the treatment starts.
- Clients will be asked to arrive alone and on time. I don't have a waiting room so will be unable to admit you earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment. If you do arrive earlier, please be prepared to wait in your car.
- If you are delayed, please contact me as soon as possible. I have a strict cleaning routine between clients, which may prevent me from running past the arranged time slot for your appointment.
- Please wear an appropriate, close fitting face mask to the appointment. I will also wear a mask and visor during your treatment for your protection.
- I will wear a fresh uniform for each client.
- When you arrive you will be asked to sanitise or wash your hands. I will also sanitise my hands.
- I will maintain the correct social distance from you.
- If you would like to bring your own blanket with you, please do. Otherwise I am able to provide one for you. Clean linens/towels/blankets are always used for each client.
- My reflexology treatment room will be simplified and soft furnishings removed to allow for more efficient cleaning. The room will be aired between clients with all surfaces, floor, door handles, chairs etc thoroughly disinfected.
- Waste and laundry will be dealt with, in line with Government Guidelines.
- Please bring a bottle of water with you, which you can drink following the treatment.
- If possible please make payment with a card/paypal/bank transfer, rather than cash. I use an i-zettle machine, which accepts most cards.
Hygiene and safety is of paramount importance to me. If you have any concerns, please call me to discuss.
