Facial Reflexology

A deeply relaxing treatment, tension melts away, you look and feel refreshed.

This facial reflexology uses the Bergman Method, created by the award-winning reflexologist, Ziggie Bergman.  Like traditional reflexology it is based on the theory that all areas of the body correspond to reflexes on the face. By massage and pin point pressure to these reflexes, you can help to re-balance the body.

The face’s close proximity to the brain and cranial nerves means that Facial Reflexology can have a very powerful affect on the body’s equilibrium. Not only does it aim to help clients improve their overall health and well-being, it can also help them to look refreshed and have a healthy glow.

Facial reflexology aims to improve the circulation to the face and the head.  It improves the lymphatic drainage to the face, which ash the effect of helping with the removal of toxins and waste products.  It can aid the renewal of skin tissue and improve skin tone. It can also be beneficial to those with Acne, as it exfoliates the skin.  Encourages the production of Sebum which in turn Additionally, over a series of sessions, there may also be a reduction in lines and wrinkles.

What can I expect?

After discussing your medical history.  You will be able to relax on a comfortable couch; a soft blanket is available to keep you warm. Your face will be cleansed using an organic, sensitive skin cleanser and a refreshing warm, steamed facial cloth..  After which the reflexology session will commence. At the end of the session, I will give you some aftercare advice and show you a couple of key reflex points that you can use to reinforce the treatment at home.
